PTI founder Imran Khan’s claims about inadequate jail amenities have been rejected as untrue by Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari.
Imran Khan’s allegations that he was denied basic amenities while incarcerated are completely unfounded, according to Azma Bokhari’s statement.
She claimed that his claims were false because the B-Class facilities he was receiving were superior than those offered to other B-Class inmates.
She asked how someone who used to wake up on Eid at noon could now say that jails offer unclean water for ablution.
She added that Imran Khan is currently occupied with disseminating misleading information regarding prison circumstances, despite having previously boasted about taking down other people’s air conditioners. “A party without leadership today cannot launch any protest movement,” she said, making fun of the PTI.
“Those who once claimed to bring about a revolution have been found guilty of rebellion,” Azma Bokhari continued, adding that the findings in the May 9 trials are in line with the law and the constitution.
While his own children are happy in the United States, Imran Khan has been chastised by the provincial minister for exploiting the nation’s youth for his personal ends. “Today’s Pakistani youth are aware and will no longer fall for such mischief,” she said in closing.
