Pakistan is eager to deepen its partnership with China: President Zardari
On Thursday, President Asif Ali Zardari expressed gratitude for China’s contribution to Pakistan’s socioeconomic growth and emphasised the enormous potential for expanding bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade, the economy, culture, and regional connectivity.
The president stated that Pakistan placed the highest value on its relationship with China and was eager to deepen bilateral cooperation in areas of shared interest during a meeting with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong, who was visiting him here.
He underlined the necessity of cooperation in advancing regional peace, security, and development.
According to the president, China has always supported Pakistan throughout difficult times, and the people of Pakistan are still appreciative of their dependable brother nation for its continuous assistance and contribution to the socioeconomic advancement of their nation.
President Zardari was wished a happy birthday on the occasion by the Chinese envoy, who also delivered a special birthday message from President Xi Jinping.
