Fitna al Khawarij is arrested by CTD and intelligence services.
A terrorist connected to Fitna al Khawarij was apprehended by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and intelligence services in a coordinated operation, which also found a substantial arsenal of weapons and ammunition.
The terrorist was identified as Musa by a CTD official. The arrest, he said, was the result of an intelligence-based operation. He claimed that in order to prepare for terrorist attacks, the terrorist had already finished reconnaissance of key areas in Rawalpindi.
According to him, the terrorist who was caught had lately recorded and shared videos of delicate areas on social media.
He claimed that the terrorist was in communication with a senior Khawarij organization commander and had made several training trips to Afghanistan.
He stated that three detonators, a remote button, a prima card, hand grenades, a seven-foot safety fuse wire, and bullets were among the weapons and explosives found in his possession.
According to the spokesperson, additional investigation is being conducted and a case has been filed against the terrorist.
