In the liquor and illegal guns recovery case, the court once more warrants Gandapur’s arrest.

In relation to an illegal guns and liquor recovery case, the Islamabad District and Sessions Court has once again ordered the arrest and production of Ali Amin Gandapur, the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
A request to allow the Advocate General to record a statement on behalf of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister (CM) Ali Amin Gandapur in the case involving the alleged recovery of illicit firearms and alcohol was denied by the lower court in Islamabad during the hearing on Thursday.
The arrest warrants were upheld by the court, and Gandapur was instructed to record his statement at the upcoming hearing either in person or via video link.
The Advocate General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa filed a motion to record the statement under Section 342 on behalf of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, an accused in a case involving the alleged discovery of illicit weapons and alcohol, but Judicial Magistrate Mubashir Hassan Chishti denied it.
Raja Zahoorul Hassan Advocate, Gandapur’s attorney, told the court during Thursday’s session that the chief minister would be represented in court by the KP Advocate General. In order to give both advocates a chance to speak, the court first interrupted the session.
Raja Zahoorul Hassan and KP Advocate General Shah Faisal came in court when the proceedings restarted and submitted a request for Gandapur to be excused from appearance. The Advocate General asked the court to postpone the case hearing until September, explaining that tribal leaders from all over the nation were attending a great jirga being conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Judge Chishti stated that the thorough order will make the court’s stance clear when she denied the request. After that, the judge postponed the hearing and upheld the Gandapur arrest warrants that had already been issued.
In addition to ordering the SHO of Bhara Kahu to arrest Ali Amin Gandapur and bring him to the next hearing on July 29, the court has once again issued written arrest warrants for Gandapur.
