Service costs for FY 2025–2026 are revised by PLRA.

LAHORE: Using the powers conferred by the PLRA Act of 2017, the Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA) has formally issued a new schedule of service costs for the fiscal year 2025–2026, which will take effect immediately.
Enhancing service delivery, maintaining financial stability, and fostering openness in land-related services throughout the province are the goals of the revised fee structure.
The Punjab Land Records Authority highlighted numerous significant modifications when it published the revised service fees on July 14, 2025.
The new set cost is PKR 3,500 for the expedited publication of land documents, including as Fard, Mutation, and Girdawari. There is a PKR 800 cost associated with the regular provision through HSMS. Additionally, obtaining a copy of the recorded deed will cost PKR 1,300.
Verification of certified copies will cost PKR 600 for banks or agencies and PKR 900 for individuals.
The cost is PKR 1,100 if the mutation is done through a bank or another agency, and PKR 9,700 for those who need alteration services.
There will be a PKR 6,100 e-registration cost for the commission appointment and a PKR 2,500 fee for property transfers within development or cooperative bodies.

There will be a one-time registration cost of PKR 5,000 per property for approved housing organizations.
While the e-registration portal fee for sale or purchase is calculated as 0.1% of the property value, with a basic fee of PKR 3,300, the HSMS transaction is charged a fee of PKR 3,000. The total cost of other e-registration-related transactions is PKR 3,300.
These payments, which are authorized by the PLRA Secretary Board and Director General, do not include official fees demanded by the government.
The board also approved new procedures, a 10% pay raise for staff, and steps to make it easier for Pakistanis living abroad to pay USD costs.
In order to facilitate property transactions and improve public access to land records, the Punjab Land Records Authority is constantly modernizing its processes by incorporating digital platforms such as HSMS and the e-registration portal.
