A celestial phenomena that adorns the sky of Karachi is the shooting star.

Stargazers in Karachi are in awe of a meteor that sparkles over the sky in a social media video that has gone viral.

The shooting star was seen to the city’s residents as they were finishing their Fajr prayers. They were astounded to witness this uncommon event.

When the meteor died out, stargazers could see it as it soared through the sky over various parts of Karachi.

People on social media claimed to have seen a colorful, swiftly moving object in the sky that quickly vanished. However, they recorded its motion on their smartphones and sent it to their friends and family.

It appeared in the sky at about six in the morning and was there for a while. According to astronomical scientists, such an occurrence occurs when rock is seen burning up in the Earth’s atmosphere before collapsing to the ground.

A meteoroid, sometimes known as a space rock, is an object that enters Earth’s atmosphere. The air’s resistance, or drag, on the space rock causes it to become very heated as it descends toward the earth.

“Shooting stars” is the generally used term for them. As the hot rock speeds through the Earth’s atmosphere, NASA claims that the dazzling streak is actually the glowing hot air rather than the boulder itself. A “meteor shower” occurs when numerous meteoroids strike Earth simultaneously.
