A fire erupts in the Mass Communication Department at Karachi University.
It is thought that a short circuit triggered the fire in the department’s audio-visual room, which broke out at around ten in the morning.
Sources said that the fire was not very big and that the two fire fighters who were sent to the area worked fast to put it out. Firefighters are still battling to completely put out the flames as part of rescue operations.
Karachi University’s Department of Mass Communication is a well-known establishment that has produced numerous well-known journalists throughout Pakistan.
Thankfully, there have been no reported casualties, and things are under control at this point. A short circuit has been determined to be the source of the fire, and an investigation will probably come next.
The chairwoman reported that as soon as the fire broke out, the pupils were taken out.
