An explosion in close proximity to a law enforcement vehicle has resulted in the injuries of three individuals in DI Khan.

According to the information provided, an explosion took place on Dera Ismail Khan road, resulting in three people being injured, while the police personnel were unharmed.

The police have transported the injured individuals, who are between the ages of 15 and 16, to the hospital.

The explosion occurred when the police vehicle was traversing the route.

Preliminary inquiries indicate that the bomb was operated from a distance and contains around 6-7 kg of explosive material.

Earlier, a blast happened in Tehsil Kulachi, Dera Ismail Khan, resulting in at least two injuries, including a police policeman.

The event took place when an explosive device detonated on the side of the road while the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and other police personnel were their route to their polio duty.

During a separate incident, twin landmine explosions near Thaikedar Naddi in the Duki area of Balochistan resulted in at least one fatality and 20 injuries.

The initial detonation transpired after a truck collided with a landmine, succeeded by a further explosion as individuals congregated at the location.

According to the police officials, both landmine explosions resulted in the death of one civilian, while 17 others were injured. The wounded individuals were conveyed to hospitals in close proximity to receive medical care.
