Hania Aamir addresses the issue of an inappropriate deepfake video, speaking up for the first time.

The AI footage shows Aamir attired inappropriately. It was highly stunning and left many fans and watchers in a state of uncertainty. The video got out and started spreading across multiple social media platforms before people started taking it as a real footage of Amir.

But shortly, a number of eagle-eyed viewers tagged the video as a deep fake-a form of synthetic media generated with AI technology. A few readers thought that the man in the video was an Indian model and remarkably resembles Aamir.

As the video started trending, journalists and social media began debating the consequences of the same. And in reaction, Aamir resorted to his Instagram to clear the air.

She enters into her Instagram tale story with a message, worried by the scenario, and says, “These AI-created things are so dangerous. Can’t there be any law that can be made against this?” And she even clarifies that the film is not of her: “These are not my videos, and anyone believing they are-are mistaken.

Aamir is a leading face in Pakistani television and film. Her skill has been evident in much-hit dramas like “Janaan,” “Na Maloom Afraad 2,” and “Parwaaz Hai Junoon.” Her work on television includes popular serials such as “Titli,” “Phir Wohi Mohabbat,” and “Mere Humsafar.” Strong on social media, with roughly 14.8 million subscribers, Aamir was certainly going to become a target of this sort of content.

Matters grew even grave when an Indian admirer, Anureet Sandhu, chimed in with the fun using filters to appear like Aamir himself. This topic has illustrated the method in which AI technology may get deadly if applied unethically.

Coming to Aamir’s assistance, his stylist Mavi Kiani reshared Aamir’s Instagram story, seeking responsibility by a troubled mind. Kiani said on her post, “This is dreadful!! And yes there should be accountability! Shame on folks that do it n enjoy fun or thrills on other ppl’s expense. Whosoever you are. may you rot in hell.”

Aamir’s fans have come out in support, vehemently denouncing the exploitation of AI technologies. Their position is that, while AI can be an excellent tool for positive ends, its employment in creating deceptive or damaging content cannot be tolerated.
