IHC requests a response to the PTI office’s request to seal

Judge Saman Rafat Imtiaz’s court saw the appearance of attorney Ghulam Murtaza, representing PTI.

With no prior notice or information, the lawyer notified the IHC that the PTI central secretariat had been sealed by the Metropolitan Corporation.

It was claimed that the action was conducted because the fire and safety requirements were not being followed.

The case has been postponed until next week by Judge Saman Rafat Imtiaz.

It is important to remember that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretariat was raided by law enforcement officials after they obtained tangible proof. police claimed that through its digital media centre, the PTI Secretariat had been functioning as the central hub of a global disinformation network.

Information from a global social media activist connected to the party was used to conduct the operation.

PTI central office computers and records that were taken by Islamabad police during the raid are currently being examined as part of the ongoing enquiry.

For “violating building rules,” CDA had previously shut down the office, which was situated in the G-8 neighbourhood of Islamabad.
