Sher Afzal Marwat, a leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has elucidated that the request for the restoration of the party’s mandate was not part of the discussions with the government.

Marwat asserted that permitting meetings with Imran Khan was not a significant concern for the government.

He, however, accused the jail supervisor of exhibiting an improper demeanor towards Imran Khan.

Marwat declared intentions to submit a petition for contempt of court against the superintendent.

He also emphasized the ongoing incarceration of PTI personnel.

He emphasized that the request for reinstating the mandate was neither presented during discussions nor within the government’s authority to fulfill.

When inquired about Aleema Khan, Imran Khan’s sister, Marwat, abstained from elaborating, indicating that Khan had previously acknowledged receiving an offer.

Marwat also elucidated that no instruction had been issued by Imran Khan to refrain from making statements against institutions.
