Tickets for Pakistan’s T20 series against West Indies to be held in Karachi next month will go on sale at TCS Express Centres in the city on Wednesday evening.
The tickets for the matches have been available online since Monday.
The National Stadium Karachi, where the Pakistan Super League’s high-voltage final was held on Sunday, will host the three-match series between April 1 and 3.
Due to security reasons, a maximum of five tickets would be issued on a single Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC), which potential buyers will have to produce while making the purchase.
The tickets will be available in denominations of Rs500, Rs1,000, Rs2,000 and Rs5,000 according to the prices set by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Naiyar Saifi, Director Marketing and Public Affairs at TCS, expressed confidence that the company will be able to ensure hassle-free sale of tickets.
Earlier this month, gross mismanagement was witnessed in sale of PSL final tickets when thousands of Karachiites returned empty-handed from dozens of designated centres of the courier company.
The online sale had also suffered a blow when the website of the courier company crashed and took hours to restore.
The squad for the West Indies series was announced earlier this week and includes Hussain Talat, Asif Ali and Shaheen Shah Afridi, all of whom impressed with their performances in the recently concluded third edition of PSL.
