Today, Pakistan will unveil its five-year national economic plan.

Ahsan Iqbal was speaking at an event in Lahore as the Minister of Planning and Development.

The “Udan Pakistan” reform plan, according to the minister, will contribute to the nation’s sustained economic growth.

“Prior PML-N governments also attempted to make the country a sovereign nation,” he said. “Once again, this five-year plan is laying the groundwork for economic development.”
He highlighted the promotion of exports, e-commerce, human resource development, technological advancement, modernization of the agriculture sector, and energy efficient systems for accomplishing sustainable development goals.

For long-term progress in the nation, Ahsan Iqbal also emphasized the significance of political stability, peace, and policy continuity.

According to Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, this economic strategy will move the nation to a position where the existing IMF program.
