Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has declared that illegal residency in Pakistan will not be permitted under any circumstances.
A goodbye meeting with U.S. Ambassador Donald Blome addressed issues of common interest and the state of Pak-U.S. relations. Federal Interior Secretary Khurram Ali Agha and U.S. Deputy Head of Mission Natalie Baker were in attendance.
Naqvi praised the U.S. ambassador for his efforts in enhancing Pak-U.S. relations and conveyed his best wishes for Blome’s future pursuits.
Ambassador Blome denounced recent terrorist acts in Pakistan, while Naqvi underscored that terrorism constitutes a global challenge for collaborative efforts.
He implored the international community to formulate a comprehensive strategy for its eradication, reaffirming Pakistan’s resolute position against unlawful residency.
Blome conveyed appreciation for the assistance and collaboration he got from all institutions throughout his term in Pakistan.
