The Finance Ministry updates the regulations for the Special Family Pension.

The Special Family Pension has been redefined by the Finance Ministry to exclusively apply to the families of martyrs in the military forces and civil armed forces.

An official statement from the Finance Division states that the new regulations make it clear that family members of those who are martyred while performing these duties would be eligible to collect the pension for a period of 25 years.

The ministry also emphasized that the pension regulations for government workers are being updated more broadly, which includes this revision.

To guarantee correct implementation and comprehension of these modifications in all pertinent departments, a clarifying office memorandum has been released.

In the meanwhile, the office memorandum states that a 3% yearly pension deduction will be made for early voluntary retirement.
