Asad Qaiser receives transit bail from PHC to January 30.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser has been granted travel bail by the Peshawar High Court through January 30. Additionally, the court has ordered him to appear in front of the appropriate courts.

The petitions submitted by Asad Qaiser were considered by Peshawar High Court Justice Kamran Hayat Mian Khel. The former Speaker had already obtained bail in eleven cases, according to the petitioner’s attorney, but he had submitted transit bail applications in three of them. A longer transit bail period was requested by the attorney, who cited the volume of cases and the length of time needed for court procedures.

The request was approved by the court, and Asad Qaiser was given transit bail until January 30 with instructions to appear before  the respective courts for further proceedings.
